Join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equipment and Services LLC in New Berlin, WI as a Project Engineer - Mechanical. We are looking for a dedicated individual to handle all mechanical and structural design tasks for the modification and modernization of electric overhead cranes in the Americas region. As part of our team, you will interpret customer specifications, create equipment layouts, perform necessary calculations, and generate final designs to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and structural design activities for electric overhead cranes.
• Interpret customer specifications and project plans.
• Create detailed mechanical and structural designs based on legacy equipment.
• Produce drawings for equipment layouts, assembly, and installation.
• Write detailed work instructions for field installation support.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, design execution, and budget adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with electric overhead cranes.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
