Job Description
Mayroad, an asset management company with a strong legacy, is looking for a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician Generalist to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician Generalist, you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of residential properties and various community assets to ensure a high standard of living for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of routine maintenance tasks in residential and community properties.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to work orders, including emergencies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
- Utilize technology for work order management and communication.
- Address plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues.
- Ensure building safety and appearance standards are met.
- Collaborate with the team and work independently as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential maintenance.
- Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work.
- Ability to obtain HVAC/Steam certification within 12 months if necessary.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
