Job Description
We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice, a distinguished provider of hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services, managing interdisciplinary teams, and acting as a primary liaison between healthcare professionals and patients/families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient’s family with a reasonable case load.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the care plan.
- Maintain accurate clinical records for assigned patients and participate in quality assessment programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic with patients and their families.
- Current RN license (or ability to obtain one) in the state of requested employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
