Job Description

Wisconsin Community Services is currently seeking a part-time Security- Resident Monitor II to join our Parsons House Reentry Services team. This position involves supervising male and female offenders in a correctional residential setting and community, enforcing rules, conducting surveillance checks, and performing general office duties. Various shifts are available with mandatory overtime. Essential functions include maintaining security, conducting inspections, monitoring medication usage, and ensuring resident accountability. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have prior experience in corrections or social services, and clear background checks. Strong communication skills, crisis de-escalation abilities, attention to detail, and security equipment proficiency are required. Physical demands include climbing stairs, mobility, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and provide First Aid and CPR if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in corrections or related security/social services preferred.
• Clear background checks and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with crisis de-escalation abilities.
• Comfortable using security equipment and performing pat searches.
• Sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and disability issues.
• Ability to provide First Aid, CPR, and evacuate building in emergencies.
