Senior Associate Cybersecurity Engineer ( Endpoint Security )

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Associate Cybersecurity Engineer specialized in Endpoint Security to join Discover Financial Services. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will contribute to developing the cybersecurity engineering roadmap, designing secure systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk requirements. Your role will involve managing risks, relationships with security partners, and staying updated on security trends and threats.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering specifications for security efforts.
• Assist in designing security solutions aligned with business goals.
• Validate architectural models and ensure compliance with cybersecurity strategies.
• Build effective relationships with peers and partners while staying informed on security trends.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, or Security Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in scripting, coding, and automation.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with automating workloads and knowledge of security threats.
• Expertise in Endpoint Security solutions (EDR, EPP, HBFW).
