Senior OnBase Developer

Job Description

Princeton University is looking for a talented Senior OnBase Developer to join its central IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing, and integrating solutions on the OnBase by Hyland enterprise platform. This position involves collaborating with the OnBase team to develop, test, debug, maintain, and support solutions for campus users. The Senior OnBase Developer will also provide application support, assist with administration tasks, and contribute to validating new software releases.

This role offers a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance OnBase solutions using OnBase API, C#, and/or VBScript.
• Develop interfaces between OnBase and other applications for seamless integration.
• Create solutions within OnBase using Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms.
• Prepare technical requirements and solution designs based on functional needs.
• Maintain and refine existing content management solutions.
• Build reports using Hyland Report Services module or custom SQL scripts.
• Support OnBase application administration and maintenance.
• Lead projects from development to production go-live.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on new Hyland modules for service enhancement.
• Cultivate relationships with campus users, team members, and partners involved in OnBase solutions.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years IT experience, 3+ years as a developer with enterprise content management software.
• Experience working on full lifecycle projects with SDLC methodology.
• Proficiency in ECM document imaging, management, workflow, and reporting modules.
• Familiarity with OnBase API, C#, VBScript, and SQL scripting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years working with OnBase by Hyland.
• Administering enterprise content management software and related tools.
• Certifications in OnBase Workflow, Advanced Workflow, and API.
• Knowledge of Service Now, SharePoint, and Microsoft Visio.
• Experience in higher education.
