EMERGENCY PSYCH EVALUATOR (SOCIAL WORKER) - SINAI HOSPITAL

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Psych Evaluator (Social Worker) to join the team at Sinai Hospital under LifeBridge Health. This full-time position involves conducting comprehensive Behavioral Health assessments, evaluations, and providing care recommendations for patients in Emergency Departments and beyond, ensuring seamless coordination of health services.

Responsibilities

• Perform Behavioral Health assessments and crisis interventions for psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Work closely with ED attending providers and psychiatrists to develop care recommendations.
• Create and document psychiatric plans for patient disposition, ensuring ongoing communication with the ED team.
• Engage with patients, families, colleagues, and management to discuss care plans.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
• 1-3 years of previous Social Work or Counseling experience.
• LCSW-C or LCPC licensure is mandatory.
