We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team at The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a Staff Nurse II in the EP Lab, you will provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery.
Unit Description
The EP lab staff nurse plays a crucial role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in varying states of health. As a key member of the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide direct patient care, education, and discharge preparation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education and prepare them for continued care post-discharge.
- Possibility to take charge as operational need allows.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in Cardiology and EP Lab procedures preferred.
- Strong assessment, planning, and evaluation skills.
