Summary: Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) assists at the advanced beginner level in providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process. Interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
- Direct and lead other assigned team members.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment.
- Coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of patient care services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license.
- Experience in providing patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
