Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join Joyce University in a part-time role based on our Draper, UT campus. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of maintenance tasks, demonstrate proficiency in multiple trades, and have strong problem-solving abilities. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining facilities, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance tasks to preserve campus aesthetics.
• Replace or repair faulty equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Regularly inspect facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors on assigned projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Licensure in relevant trades is a plus.
