Application Engineer ( Full Stack )

Discover Financial Services is seeking an experienced and driven Application Engineer (Full Stack) to join our innovative team. Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy new features with a focus on quality and security.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and oversee the design decisions for assigned products.
• Contribute to technology communities and lead initiatives within Discover.
• Remediate issues using engineering principles and preventive design solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus points for experience with Java on Spring Boot, React, API design, cloud deployment, testing, CI/CD, and working in an Agile environment.

External applicants will undergo a technical interview.
