Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a Registered Physical Therapist to join our team dedicated to helping individuals who have experienced a brain injury live independently at home. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role guiding and assisting consumers in reaching their highest level of motor functioning and mobility through skilled therapy goals. Responsibilities

• Implementing the organization's philosophical principles in service delivery.
• Assisting individuals with brain injuries in developing compensation techniques for daily activities.
• Conducting evaluations to determine best therapy methods based on physical and mental abilities.
• Collaborating with consumers and professional staff to achieve set goals.
• Providing clear and concise documentation as per individual care plans.
• Educating families and caregivers on brain injury strategies and progress.
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to teach skills to individuals with disabilities.
• Strong supervisory skills to mentor therapy assistants effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and sensitivity towards others.
• Efficient time management and adaptability to changing tasks.
• Basic technology proficiency, including iPad usage.

Education and Experience

• Completion of a physical therapy program from an accredited university.
• Current licensure in the state of Kansas.

Requirements

• Ability to lift for consumers with physical needs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic iPad proficiency and reliable transportation.
