Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and facility procedures. The position is part-time on weekends from 7 am to 7 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care by adhering to physician's orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications as prescribed and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
• Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control, and assist with research on nursing care quality.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a current license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Provide genuine and quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• Stay CPR certified yearly and participate in in-service training and staff meetings.
• Have the ability to make critical nursing decisions and work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
