Job Description
Position: Maintenance Technician
AVTEC FINISHING is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Production Maintenance Technician for a full-time position. This jack-of-all-trades role requires mechanical aptitude in carpentry, electrical, welding, machine maintenance, plumbing, and HVAC to keep our manufacturing environment running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance tasks including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Refer complex work to experienced maintenance personnel as needed.
- On-call availability for nights & weekends may be required.
Requirements
- Trade school training or 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Willingness to engage in additional training if requested.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Proficiency in basic welding tasks.
- Fluency in the English language.
Compensation
Wage Range: $26-$32+/hour based on experience, training, and work history.
Signing Bonus: $1,500.00 (Not available for current employees).
1st Shift hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
