Astrophysics Inc. is a global leader in X-Ray security inspection systems, dedicated to creating a safer world through advanced technology. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team remotely, near El Paso, Texas.
Job Summary
The Field Service Technician will perform on-site installations, preventative and corrective maintenance for our products at customer sites across the United States. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment, completing service documentation, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation and maintenance.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and repair.
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
- Provide technical phone support as needed.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and promote additional services.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or related field, or 2-7 years of technical support experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to various work sites.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
