Job Description
Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. This part-time position, working nights from 7pm to 7am, offers a rewarding opportunity to provide quality nursing care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for a unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of emergencies or changes.
- Implement changes in orders as directed by physicians.
- Perform assigned duties effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies for adequate coverage.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients and follow doctors’ orders.
- CPR certification on a yearly basis.
- Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
