Caregiver

Job Description

We are hiring Caregivers to join our team at Sevita, a part of the D&S Community Services family, providing community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will play a vital role in helping individuals grow, learn, and live fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, and helping them achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Assist participants in community integration and engagement in recreational activities.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and daily living skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and responsible.
