Job Description
Discover Financial Services is looking for a talented Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and operating security solutions to protect our enterprise while enabling value delivery to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, managing security technologies, and ensuring compliance with corporate technology goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop security solutions in collaboration with Cybersecurity architects
- Serve as the subject matter expert for supported security technologies
- Validate architectural models and oversee security requirements for project implementation
- Manage relationships with security partners and vendors
- Stay updated on security trends, threats, and compliance requirements
- Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, or related field
- Technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale (internal applicants only)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Identity Management tools such as NetIQ, SailPoint, Saviynt
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management provisioning
- Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, and scripting languages
- Understanding of LDAP, Networking topics, and modern frameworks like Angular/React
