Registered Nurse

Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Registered Nurse (RN) working Part Time Nights (7pm - 7am) with the opportunity to provide quality nursing care to patients in a compassionate and caring environment. As an RN, you will be responsible for administering medications, supervising nursing assistants, assisting physicians, and maintaining infection control measures among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care for patients in accordance with physician's orders and regulations.
• Administer medications as prescribed and per facility policies.
• Lead and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
• Perform scheduled treatments during shifts and maintain infection control measures.
• Participate in research on the quality of nursing care as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid North Carolina Board of Nursing license.
• Experience in geriatric nursing and genuine interest in providing quality care.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to attend in-service training sessions.
• Ability to make critical nursing decisions and cooperate effectively with medical staff and patients.
