HOSPICE CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Job Description

Liberty Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Clinical Director to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis. As the Clinical Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing the operational and clinical aspects of our hospice and palliative care services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hospice and palliative care regulations, accreditation standards, and federal/state laws.
• Assess the performance of Liberty Hospice offices through financial, clinical, and quality reports.
• Develop improvement plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Patient Care Coordinators.
• Provide mentoring, training, and orientation programs for Hospice Care Managers.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Home Care and Hospice Care Services.
• Work closely with Clinical Directors for Homecare to streamline services.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the organization.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure and nursing education from an accredited institution.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of management experience and two years of clinical nursing experience, including hospice services.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and financial management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and computer applications.
• Willingness to travel to hospice branches as necessary.
• CPR certification required.
