Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services, a leading digital banking and payments company. As a key member of the Business Technology team, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of BT issues, identifying root causes, minimizing impact, and documenting problem resolution actions in collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordinate actions to resolve assigned issues.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements and escalate blockers for timely resolution.
  • Maintain problem inventory and progress in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements during problem management.
  • Mentor Service Support Specialists if assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations, Project management, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 1+ years of people management or related experience.

Compensation

Base pay ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives based on factors like experience and education.
