Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of Business Technology (BT) issues. Your tasks will include identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and collaborating with various teams to resolve problems. You will play a crucial role in escalating risks and ensuring timely issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage issue life-cycles and coordinate actions for resolution.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and blockers are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain problem inventory and propose process improvements.
  • Mentor Service Support Specialists.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in relevant fields or 4+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of people management experience.
