Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis during nights. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, observing patient symptoms, and ensuring quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall following the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor performance under RN supervision.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting emergencies to attending physicians.
• Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• High school graduate and graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid LPN license from the state Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide quality geriatric nursing care.
• CPR certification and attendance at in-service training.
