Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare Management's team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a per diem basis during evenings (3pm - 11pm). In this role, you will assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delegate duties, observe patients for symptoms, and notify attending physicians of emergencies. Additional responsibilities include implementing physician-ordered changes and performing assigned duties to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certification required annually.
  • Attendance at in-service training and staff meetings as needed.
