Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments to our residents in a safe and organized manner, while upholding our commitment to champion the quality of life for all seniors.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments with the highest degree of quality care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care.
• Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to update medication information.
• Maintain medication rooms and carts for cleanliness and compliance.
• Communicate resident concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Participate in risk management, safety protocols, and infection control measures.
• Contribute to team success through active participation and training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED; certifications as required by state/provincial regulations.
• Prior experience in senior care is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
• Commitment to providing quality care for seniors.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
