Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Principal Product Owner to join Discover Financial Services, a top digital banking and payments company. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the product outcomes meet the needs of stakeholders and customers while navigating various business constraints. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, defining product features, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Interact and collaborate with stakeholders to align on product vision and roadmap.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product team.
- Define functional and non-functional product requirements; create and validate user story acceptance criteria.
- Partner with business technology to optimize system components and infrastructure maintenance.
- Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the product team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related fields.
