Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Technician I to join First Student, the leading school transportation provider in North America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure the safety and readiness of vehicles. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and DOT maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle components including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
• Ensure accurate completion of work orders and assist in mobile emergency services.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
• Minimum 1 year of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
• Possess a mechanic’s tool set and willingness to participate in the ASE certification program.
• Subject to drug testing.
