2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Select incoming stock accurately to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise in line with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Perform tasks efficiently and follow company policies.

• Must be 18 years or older.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and placing products of up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking.
• Working in various temperatures and operating equipment safely.
