Job Description
We are hiring a CT Technologist for a full-time position on midnights at Corewell Health. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, provide procedural information to patients, and ensure the best possible images for interpretation while following radiation protection principles. Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Perform CT exams and related patient care procedures.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure patient safety.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Use hospital computer systems efficiently for scheduling and data management.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
