Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis working the night shift. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams using imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging results. Additionally, you will interact with patients, providing procedural information, and maintaining a clean and organized exam room.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician order.
- Provide patient education prior to exams.
- Perform CT exams and related procedures following ALARA principles.
- Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure quality control.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Maintain cleanliness of exam room and equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT required, additional CT certification within 1 year.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
