Job Description

We are seeking a talented Preferred Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team at Johns Manville Corp, a proud member of the Berkshire Hathaway family. As part of the Roofing Systems Preferred Accounts team, you will play a vital role in managing business development, selling efforts, and account management activities for key clients in the roofing and construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as a trusted partner for clients by developing plans to identify, cultivate, and convert prospect accounts.
  • Build multi-level relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts to increase JM's market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored value propositions for key clients.
  • Act as the primary contact point, providing enhanced services to ensure superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in business development or national account sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial building owners, roofing consultants, and specifiers.
  • Advanced sales techniques and industry knowledge.
  • Active participation in relevant associations.
