Job Description

We are looking for a talented Preferred Accounts Manager to join our team at Johns Manville Corp, a leading manufacturer of premium insulation and roofing products. As a National Accounts Manager, you will be instrumental in driving business development, sales efforts, and account management for key clients in the roofing industry. Your role will involve deepening client relationships, developing tailored value propositions, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner for clients.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and increase JM's market share.
  • Support sales efforts and drive preference for JM products.
  • Provide enhanced services to deliver superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • 3-5 years in business development or national account sales.
  • Ability to navigate complex selling situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with national/regional commercial building owners and specifiers.
  • Skilled in new business development and advanced sales techniques.
  • Expert in commercial roofing competitor products and pricing.
  • Participation in industry associations is a plus.
