Description:
Johns Manville is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to oversee technical and engineering resources, ensuring alignment to production demand. You will drive improvements in processes, collaborate on R&D efforts, and manage projects to enhance product quality and consistency. This role will involve analyzing, recommending, and implementing enhancements in production systems and capacity to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering disciplines, process improvement initiatives, and capital projects.
- Establish work plans, recruit, develop, and motivate staff to maintain technical capabilities.
- Collaborate on technical projects with cross-functional teams to drive process efficiencies and cost reductions.
- Handle performance evaluations, pay reviews, hiring, and termination of staff.
- Attend to other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of management experience.
- Master’s degree and Professional Engineer's license preferred.
- Exposure to glass manufacturing processes and 5+ years of process improvement leadership.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with continuous process disciplines like Six Sigma Lean TQM preferred.
