Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

General Summary

Under supervision, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and efficient diagnostic exams, monitoring patient safety, and providing procedural information to patients and their families. Your commitment to following radiation protection principles and ensuring compliance with regulations will be paramount.

Essential Duties

The role involves performing diagnostic exams, documenting patient history, ensuring patient safety during procedures, communicating effectively with various stakeholders, proficiently operating imaging equipment, and maintaining department operations. Additionally, you will assist in training new hires and students while upholding quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program and relevant certifications including CRT-Radiographer (R), CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration, and CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS). Proficiency in operating hospital computer systems and maintaining competency in various radiology procedures will be essential.
