Job Description
We are currently looking for a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while following radiation protection principles and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for patients' physical abilities.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and personnel.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Contribute to departmental operations and quality assurance.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certification required upon hire.
