As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and individuals.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various diagnostic areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT certification required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certification required upon hire.
