Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team in a full-time afternoon position. We are offering increased pay rates and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for this role. As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while maintaining patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document it in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize appropriate methods for patient care based on physical ability.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and personnel.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow malfunction protocols.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new employees and students.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Upon Hire required.
