As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic exams and ensuring patient safety.
General Summary:
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. This role requires good clinical skills, adherence to radiation protection principles, and the provision of compassionate care following Corewell Health's Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Essential Duties:
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with accuracy and efficiency.
- Acquire patient history accurately and monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and operate imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas and assist in training new hires.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
