General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and efficient diagnostic exams across various areas of general radiology. You will work under supervision, applying principles of radiation protection, and providing exceptional clinical instruction while upholding Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control standards.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas of diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications including CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT, CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT, and CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA.
