Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This is a full-time position with day shifts. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, adhering to radiation protection principles and regulations. Additionally, you will monitor patients during procedures, communicate effectively with medical staff and patients, and ensure the quality and safety of imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire patient history and document it in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Contribute to the department's effective operations and quality control.
- Maintain competency in various diagnostic areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
