Job Description
Corewell Health is currently looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. This position involves performing diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing the best possible images for interpretation. You will play a crucial role in upholding our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care while advancing medicine and setting new standards for exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following established procedures.
- Obtain accurate patient history and document records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Adhere to radiation protection principles and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and peers.
- Provide patient education and maintain equipment and exam rooms.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Current CRT-R Radiographer certification.
- BLS certification from AHA.
