Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following established procedures.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize radiographic procedures tailored to patient needs.
- Ensure timely communication of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Provide patient education and support prior to exams.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Stay updated on and comply with equipment operation protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) certification required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
