General Summary:
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will utilize your clinical skills to provide high-quality images for interpretation, following radiation protection principles and compliance regulations. This role requires a commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Essential Duties:
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with patient verification and physician order confirmation.
- Obtain accurate patient histories and document them in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Conduct radiographic and patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and medical staff.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow malfunction policies.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training and maintaining equipment and exam room cleanliness.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT and CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
