General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology. You must demonstrate good clinical skills, prioritize patient safety, and provide quality images for interpretation while following radiation protection principles.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper procedures and patient verification.
- Acquire patient history accurately and monitor patients during procedures.
- Operate radiographic equipment proficiently and ensure patient and staff safety.
- Provide procedural information to patients, contribute to department operations, and maintain equipment and exam rooms.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications: CRT-Radiographer (R), CRT-Radiologic Technologist, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
