General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of radiology. Your role includes acquiring patient history, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and communicating effectively with the medical staff and patients. Adhering to radiation protection principles and complying with regulations are essential aspects of this position.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with precision and attention to detail.
- Monitor patients for safety and comfort during procedures.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control procedures.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures.
- Assist in training new staff and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) certification upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration within 180 days of hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
