Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit dedicated to making a good home possible for families in need. In this role, you will collaborate with the Senior Director, Development, to devise and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with funders, and drive impactful fundraising initiatives. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $93,000 to $103,000, extensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming for funders.
• Build customized fundraising strategies for new and existing funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Organize meetings, events, and tours with prospects and funders.
• Write and submit proposals, concept papers, and reports in alignment with funder guidelines.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
• Maintain updated funder records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
• Proven track record in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry a plus.
