Job Description
Corewell Health is looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring quality patient-centered care. This role involves performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support and patient-centered care.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic calculations and record waveforms.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in specialized procedures based on site requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Active BLS and additional certifications as per site requirements.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
