General Summary:
As a Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health, you will provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. This role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, operating equipment, and ensuring quality patient care throughout the treatment process.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patient procedures and provide technical support
- Perform necessary tasks pre, intra, and post-procedure
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients
- Maintain radiation safety standards and equipment
Standard Qualifications:
- Educational requirements vary based on specialization (Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab)
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR
- Certifications required based on specialization
- Basic computer and communication skills
