Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join the Corewell Health team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your duties will include assisting physicians, monitoring patient hemodynamics, operating equipment, and educating patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, patients, and families.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform equipment checks.
- Participate in special procedures as required by the department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, RT-CV or VI, RCES/RCIS.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
