Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing heart and vascular procedures, including pre, intra, and post procedures. You will support physicians, ensure quality patient care, monitor patients, operate equipment, and educate patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support during heart and vascular procedures.
- Perform IV starts, monitor hemodynamics, and document procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and quality assurance of equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS certification and relevant RT certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
